About the Authors

Bernice Ende was a fearless young girl on her parents' Minnesota dairy farm who loved to gallop bareback through pastures and cornfields. Decades later, at a slightly more sedate pace, she became Lady Long Rider, riding solo more than 29,000 miles in the saddle, criss-crossing the United States, Canada, and in 2018, Southern France.

CuChullaine O'Reilly is the Founder of the Long Riders' Guild, the Executor of the Tschiffely Literary Estate and the Director of the Long Riders' Guild Press. An award-winning journalist, he is the Editor of Equestrian Investigations for Horse & Rider Living Magazine.
