Fearless in the Saddle
One Modern-Day Woman's Ride Into the Wild Unknown
In Lady Long Rider, Bernice Ende takes readers on an unforgettable, 2,000-mile solo ride from Montana to New Mexico—and that's just the beginning. At age 51, she left everything behind to pursue a life in the saddle, eventually riding over 29,000 miles across North America and beyond.
This compelling memoir is a celebration of grit, solitude, and the unbreakable bond between woman and horse.
- A fearless tale of adventure, perseverance, and purpose
- First person to ride coast to coast and back in a single journey
- Rich storytelling of people, places, and profound self-discovery
- Winner of the Equus Film & Arts Fest Literary Award and IBPA Benjamin Franklin Award Silver Medalist
- Perfect for armchair adventurers, horse lovers, and anyone craving an inspiring true story of courage, resilience, and the call of the open road.
Whether you dream of the open trail or admire those bold enough to chase it, Bernice's story will leave a lasting impression.
