First published in 1935 this is the first New Edition Revised and Enlarged 1948 with an Introduction by Osbert Sitwell. The page opposite the inside front board has a half inch closed tear half way down the right edge. Thereafter the inside is in fine condition. Beautifully decorated in colour by Oliver Messel. The boards are cream in colour with a black and white illustration to the front with title to top and bottom; very faint crease to the top front right corner. A photograph can be sent on request.
