Hardcover bound edition of "The Lady's Bazar" Volume I for January-April 1879. Published by Leslie & Co, this "woman's magazine combines black and white illustrations of women's fashions and other topics with fiction, music, recipes, poetry. There is one tinted illustration in each month's edition, this has some tan coloring. The leather and cloth boards are worn, tearing at the spine, spine is dried-out and very worn, text still readable. Front board is partially detached, hinge opening, small bookstore sticker inside front cover, some very light foxing. All orders packed with care, dust jackets protected by Brodart sleeve, independent bookseller since 2011. Seller Inventory # 11459
