Lair of the White Worm: A Gothic Reimagining

England, 1889.

When Australian engineer Adam Salton arrives in the Midlands to visit the great-uncle he has never met, he expects a quiet country retreat. Instead, he finds a countryside haunted by disappearances, mutilated livestock, whispered legends, and an ancient estate whose history refuses to stay buried.

Alongside the brilliant Sir Nathaniel de Salis, Adam begins to unravel a mystery that stretches across the English Midlands. Villagers vanish without explanation. Strange attacks defy reason. Old maps and forgotten records hint at a hidden pattern. At the center of it all stand the beautiful Lady Arabella March, the isolated Diana's Grove, and a secret that has endured for centuries beneath the English countryside.

As the evidence mounts, skepticism gives way to certainty—and the investigation becomes a desperate struggle against an enemy as cunning as it is ancient. To survive, Adam and his companions must risk everything, for once the truth emerges, there can be no return to ordinary life.

Inspired by Bram Stoker's final novel, Lair of the White Worm is a sweeping Gothic adventure that blends mystery, folklore, historical suspense, and cosmic horror into a fresh reimagining of one of Victorian literature's strangest tales.
