SUBTITLED : ` Manitou Beach, Saskatchewan, Canada '. The lake referenced in this 24 page booklet has water more dense than rhe Dead Sea. It lies 183 km north of Regina saskatchewan. Read more about : Chalet Pool, Programs for Holidayers, whirlpool jets, Crippled Children Camp, Danceland, midnight frolic, jitney dances, and Bobby Gimby. Many of the b/w photos are of the indoor pools that thrived (c. 1933) on the lakeshore. Page 4 gives the mineral analysis of the water. Cond : Paper wrapper is white with black lettering. Cover photo shows MacLachlan Beach on a busy day in 1929. Staples tight. Colours bright. Name of p/o verso front cover. Large, top-to-bottom fold mark. Excellent reading copy. Quote (p. 17) : " In 1995 Danceland was owned by Vic and Irene Murray and had dances every Saturday night during the summer months where polkas and old- time waltz's were very popular.
