Binding and pages loose in places, but the boards remain attached. Text with scattered foxing/toning typical of the period; complete and legible. ---. First published in 1817, Moore's Lalla Rookh was one of the most popular narrative poems of the 19th century, inspiring numerous illustrated and musical adaptations.
