12mo. 332 pages. A small book measuring 6 3/4 inches tall by 5 1/4 inches wide. Hardcover in grey decorative cloth. The binding is quite worn and rubbed and shows some damping. Stains visible on the front cover and rear cover at the fore edge of the binding. Inner hinges starting. A druggist's label (likely also a bookseller's ticket) on bottom right of front pastedown. "W. H. Rennels - Druggist - St Louis Mich". The damping on the boards does not seem to affect the text of the book. The text is toned but generally clean. Contains 6 full-page illustrations by Tenniel (including the frontis).

Pages Past is a small used and antiquarian bookshop holding 10,000-15,000 volumes. We are located a few blocks from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Most of our books are hardback, although we have a few bookcases of paperbacks with recent fiction and classic literature represented. We also have a fairly good collection of Eastern Philosophy & Religion (Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism) as well as New Age. Most of these are recent paperbacks in nice condition. We have a good collection of antiquarian books in the fields of Americana, old leather bound books, and early religious and scholarly books. Shop hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. We're closed on Sundays. We are always interested in buying quality books in very good condition.…
