A Lamb's Christmas Tale

A Lamb’s Christmas Tale is a wonderfully illustrated children’s book retelling the Christmas story from a lamb’s point of view. It incorporates the Biblical story on one page and the lamb’s tale on the other. It emphasizes the love Christ has for each of us as He came to earth, born in a stable and was placed in a manger while angels, shepherds and animals looked on. A curious lamb, who happened to be watching the whole spectacle, tells his side of the story.

The author, Terry Thornton, and illustrator, Sandy Wenell Thornton, have been married since 1975. They share a love of children stories that began many years ago when raising their own two children. This is their fifth book and special in that it was developed and produced for, and dedicated to their first grandchild. Terry spent 35 years as an elementary school teacher and administrator and his story ideas originate from from discussions and experiences with the children he interacted with every day. Sandy has more than 35 years of experience in both fine and commercial art. She has illustrated educational and children's books with her appealing style that combines her background in graphics, cartooning, and love of watercolor painting. Terry and Sandy live in California.
