Will McDavid was born in Huntsville, Alabama, and stayed there until attending college at the University of Alabama. He will graduate in the Spring of 2025 and then pursue an MFA degree. Joshua Shelton is the illustrator for this collection, who graduated from Auburn in the Spring of 2024. Josh and Will have been friends since 1st grade, where they attended the same school until they graduated together in the Spring of 2020.
