Dark brown leather to spine, hinges & corners, dark olive green & deep maroon marblong to boards, worn with rubbing to edges with small nicks/scuffs through to card, fairly heavy small wear to corners through to card at extremes. Wear with rubbing to spine-ends, spine has simple gilt-line cross-banding with small decoration to boxes & an olive-green title-plate with gilt title. Grey/green end-papers, inner hinges a little worn, finger-marks/small blotches to preliminaries/last pages, "Miss Cumming" written in fountain pen under title of title-page. Text has small blotches and marks. Best described as servicably clean- well used but not misused, worn but attractive outer appearance.
