About the Author:

Leon Zeldis was born in 1930. His early life was spent in Chile, but later he went to the USA, where he started writing for Chilean publications. After returning home and getting married, the family moved in 1962 to Israel, where they live until today. A prolific writer and translator, Zeldis has published several collections of essays on Freemasonry, a bilingual technical dictionary, one book of short stories and two volumes of poetry, as well as short stories, poems and scores of articles that have been published in many countries. He is Honorary Consul of Chile in Tel Aviv, and was awarded the Order Bernardo O'Higgins by the Chilean Government. His hobbies include painting, learning languages and collecting musical instruments.
