Chicago: The Reilly & Lee Co., 1939. Handsome copy of this 1939 reprint, first published in 1904, with the scarce dustjacket. Illustrated throughout in black and white. Pictorial hardcover with Popular Edition in a blue banner at lower right, green cloth spine printed in green, matching dustjacket. The book is in very good condition with light wear to corners, good hinges, firm text block, very clean pages, gift notation dated 1939 on the front free endpaper, no other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped [1.00] and is also very good with rubbing to the outer edge of the front panel, a couple of short closed tears, very little paper loss. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
