Land evaluation is the selection of suitable land, and suitable cropping, irrigation and management alternatives that are physically and financially practicable and economically viable. Sustainable agriculture would be achieved if lands can be categorized and utilized based upon their different uses. Therefore this book helps farmers, agricultural investors and decision makers in planning the rural development, moreover, it will be used as a reference material for school of graduate students.

About the Author

The author was born in March 1963 in North Gondar; Dabat town of Amhara region. He then attended his primary and secondary Education at Dabat primary and senior secondary school. He graduated with BSc and Msc degree in chemistry ans soil sciences, respectively. Currently he is a PhD student at Haramaya university.
