Lands and Peoples, The World in Color, Part 9, Italy

This offering is a beautifully done older volume in a Grolier Geography series. The name of the series was Lands and Peoples, The World in Color . . . and what the viewer/reader gets with each volume is a wonderful look at the world that was. Each slim book in the series is just full of mostly black-and-white, but many color, photographs of various countries, their people, and some of their customs. Holland Thompson was the Editor-in-Chief of all the books that I'll be offering. All of the books are in good + to very good condition, they're all ex-library copies, they're all 6 1/2" by 9 1/2", they all have about 90 glossy pages, they were all published by The Grolier Society Inc. in 1940, or so, and they are all hard cover books that are a sort of purple with black embossed print on the front board. This offering is Part 9 - Italy. There's an Index, a Contents of This Part page, and simply great older photographs with a moderate amount of text. Thank you.
