Offers practical advice on solving landscape design problems, and discusses front entries, foundation concealment, hills, fences, wet areas, shade, walkways, and patios
Reviews
Von Trapp, a professional landscaper, gives the answers to common landscaping problems. The problems include unattractive front entries, exposed foundations, steep inclines, lack of privacy, obtrusive features (propane tanks, electric meters and junction boxes, septic mounds, etc.), wet areas, excessively shady areas, and mundane walkways and patios. Each problem and its solutions are illustrated by color photographs and drawings. Plant recommendations are included, as well as construction tips, plans, and diagrams. Most of the projects can be done economically. George Cohen
