Only good condition as Back left is black and grubby bottom right hand corner is missing but replaced by new copy edges have a few tears (repaired) and are crinkled plus there are four sharp creases down the image . These could be flattened quite easily when mounting. Overall size is 1500 x 650mm. This is an individual poster (Fig 2 from a set of three) Street Scene Series, Originally Painted by Beric Young. They were intended for Rifle Shooting directional training " STREET SCENES SERIES FIG. 2. TO BE VIEWED AT 4-5 YARDS " " WAR OFFICE DESIGN. CROWN COPYRIGHT RESERVED. PRINTED BY J. WEINER LTD. LONDON WC1 " Some nicks on the edges with conservation tape reinforcing split folds on rear. Beric Young (1902-1963) was one of the founder members of London Typographic Designers ( today LTD Design Consultants) and exhibited widely at the Royal Academy, RBA and other galleries in the 1940s and 1950s.
