Language Acquisition in Context

Language learning occurs through a complex interaction of cognitive, social, and environmental factors that shape how individuals acquire and use linguistic competence. Understanding this process informs both educational theory and applied linguistics. Language Acquisition in Context explores first and second language acquisition within naturalistic and instructional settings. The book discusses developmental stages, input processing, and learner variability. It also examines bilingualism, immersion programs, and language learning technologies. Blending psychological and linguistic perspectives, it offers educators and researchers a comprehensive view of how language acquisition unfolds across diverse contexts.
