About the Author: 'Word Nerd' Robyn Matthew is the CEO of Word Nerd Language and Educational Services Ltd., an educational service provider and publisher specializing in foreign languages. She also works as a contributor to the Collins Dictionary and as an evaluator of the grade 12 French provincial exams for the Ministry of Education. Her past pursuits include being a bilingual columnist, exchange student and teacher. She received her education in English and French at the University of British Columbia and in the Master of Publishing program at Simon Fraser University with a specialization in language resources and textbooks. She now divides her time between her hometown of Vancouver and France where she lived for two years. She finally found success learning languages as an adult.
