About the Author

He is the recipient of the International Man of the Year award 1997, 1998; Best researcher ISPA award 1999; Scientist of the year 2001 award; Meritorious Educational Excellence award 2002; Best Scientist of the year award 2004 Best teacher award 2004. Dr. Arjunan Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry, Kanchi Mamunivar Centre for Post-Graduate Studies, Pondicherry has published more than 50 research articles in various reputed national and international journals. He has guided 4 ph.D scholars and guiding 7 research scholars.
