The Laser Vision Breakthrough: Everything You Need to Consider Before Making the Decision, Including: How Safe Is the Procedure? What Will It Cost? How Effective Is It?

Laser vision correction has helped hundreds of thousands of people throw away their eyeglasses or contact lenses. You've heard about it on the news or read about it in a magazine. You may even know someone who's had this surgery. But just what is this revolutionary operation? Laser vision correction is a surgical procedure in which a surgeon reshapes your cornea with a computer-controlled laser. The laser actually transfers your current eyeglass or contact lens prescription onto the surface of your eye. In The Laser Vision Breakthrough, you'll discover a detailed account of the pros and cons of this exciting medical procedure. Scientifically edited for accuracy by a medical advisory board, this book provides you with reliable, up-to-date information on all aspects of this life-changing surgery, including:

How to determine if laser vision correction is right for you
Possible risks and complications
How to find the best doctor
The difference between the PRK and LASIK procedures
What to expect during a consultation and pre-operative examination
And much more!
