"Mein elfter Film" – so lautete ein Arbeitstitel f�r dieses Buch von Roland Gr�f. Als einer der wichtigsten Regisseure der DEFA hatte er von 1970 bis 1991 zehn gro�e Spielfilme inszeniert, danach fand er f�r seine Stoffe keine Produzenten mehr – eine schmerzliche Leerstelle im gesamtdeutschen Kino.
Nach seiner Lehrt�tigkeit an der Filmhochschule Babelsberg tauschte Gr�f die Filmkamera gegen eine Fotokamera aus. Zwischen 2007 und 2015 entstand dabei ein ganz subjektives Panorama seiner Brandenburger Wahlheimat: Bilder aus dem Fl�ming. Landschaften, Leute, Strukturen – Bilder aus tiefer Provinz und vielleicht trotzdem ein Blick auf die Welt. Vor allem aber auch ein Blick auf sich selbst – Fotos zur Selbstvergewisserung und Texte (u.a. von Helga Sch�tz), die Ansichten und Befindlichkeiten ostdeutscher Filmemacher nach der Wiedervereinigung reflektieren.
