The Last Rabbit of Ogimi

One woman's journey from the edge of burnout to the village where time stands still.

Elena is a corporate shark in Tokyo, a master of the high-stakes world of strategy and optimization. But behind the designer suits and the flawless presentations, she is crumbling. Plagued by the "Sunday Neurosis"-a hollow dread that no amount of success can fill-she finally reaches her breaking point.

Following a cryptic final wish from her grandfather, Elena travels to Ogimi, a remote Okinawan village hidden deep within the Yanbaru jungle. Known as the "Village of Longevity," it is home to the oldest people on Earth. Her mission? To find a "rabbit" that supposedly holds the sign of her future.

In Ogimi, Elena discovers that the secret to a long life isn't found in a laboratory or a gym, but in the rhythm of the Ikigai. Through the wisdom of tea-sipping centenarians, the art of golden repair (Kintsugi), and the strength of the community circle (Moai), she begins to mend her own fractured spirit.

But as a powerful typhoon threatens the village, Elena must decide: Will she return to the high-speed life that nearly destroyed her, or will she finally catch the "rabbit" and learn the true art of living?

Part philosophical fable, part cultural travelogue, The Last Rabbit of Ogimi is a transformative tale for anyone who has ever felt like they are running out of time-and wants to find a reason to stay.
