Coffeyville Historical Society, Coffeyville, KS. 1980s. Softcover/Trade Wraps. Facsimile reprint of the 1954 copy of the 1892 original. Book is tight, square, and unmarked. Book Condition: Fine. No DJ. Pictorial card stock wraps. Wraps are not bent or folded; spine is secure in saddle staples; text is secure in binding. 66 pp 12mo. This little book was written by the editor of the Coffeyville Journal about the raid and battle the townspeople had when the Dalton Gang came to Coffeyville on October 5, 1892 and attempted to rob two banks at the same time. Their attempt was foiled and four of the Dalton Gang were killed. A clean very presentable copy.
