In the apocalyptic aftermath of the war to end all wars, the world has all but been reduced to vast stretches of nuclear wastelands ruled by terrifying mutants and savage packs of roaming marauders. the only form of order left in the new world is preserved by the empire, the last civilized alliance of mankind, that willingly destroys any and all possible threats to its establishment.
