About the Author

Stephan Solberg has lived in the Chicago area all his life and comes from a family of teachers: his father was a history teacher, his wife is an English teacher, their daughter Sara is an art teacher, and their son Daniel is a college vocal coach. Besides being a writer, Steve has been an artist, a realtor, a landscape designer, and a park service worker. He sings a mean Frank Sinatra and can sometimes be seen twirling his wife on the dance floor to a country rhythm. He is currently working on a short story collection as well as a novel set in the Indiana Dunes. This is his first novel.
