One Last Stop Before We Time Travel: Book One: The Supply Run

The fate of humanity rests on a gas station run at 3 a.m. God help humanity.

Elias Graves is a soldier from 2091 with one mission: travel back to 2026 and recruit Erik Block — the statistical anchor of the human resistance, the most important man who ever lived.

The Core's files did not mention that the most important man who ever lived would need snacks first.

Within hours, Elias's precision operation acquires: Erik's best friend Justin, a self-declared "unknown variable" whose survival probability breaks the math; a foul-mouthed parrot named Garcia; several two-liter bottles of soda; and one last stop that becomes a supply run across all of human history.

Vegas, 1979. Tombstone, 1881. Miami at the height of its neon-and-bad-decisions era. Prohibition Chicago. And a quiet dental office in Denver, where a card player named Doc Holliday looks up from his cards and decides these particular idiots might be worth dying next to.

But every jump bends the timeline a little further. Sports teams change names. Song lyrics rewrite themselves. Somebody — or something — is following them through history. And the Core keeps recalculating one impossible number: their odds of surviving what's coming.

One Last Stop Before We Time Travel is a comedy about time travel, and a surprisingly big-hearted story about found family, second chances, and why the future is worth saving — taquitos included.

Book One of the series. The adventure continues in Book Two: Timeline Hangover.
