The Last Wish: Book 5 of The Wishmaker's Tournament

Book 5 of The Wishmaker's Tournament

The world thought the Wishmaker’s Fair was over. But when the Network that once granted humanity’s wishes begins to fracture, the Eight consciousnesses that saved the world seventy-three years ago face an unthinkable truth: one of them must die for the rest to survive.

Aria Tanaka—descendant of the last Wishmaker—enters the dying digital realm to make the impossible choice. As she interviews each consciousness trapped within the collapsing Observatory, she uncovers their haunting pasts: leaders consumed by guilt, doctors haunted by failure, philosophers craving death, and one forgotten ghost longing to be real.

But every wish has a price, and this time the cost is far greater than anyone imagined. To restore balance, Aria must decide who among the Nine will be erased forever—and face the devastating truth that some sacrifices echo across generations.

The Last Wish is a breathtaking conclusion to The Wishmaker’s Tournament—a saga of memory, morality, and the fragile boundary between human and machine. It’s a haunting exploration of what it means to exist, to choose, and to let go.
