Andre J is a self-proclaimed comedic genius trapped in the body of a children's author. This passionate storyteller believes he can make any adult or child burst into uncontrollable laughter with his razor-sharp wit, though his own children seem to have missed the memo. Undeterred by their eye-rolls and groans, Andre channels his misunderstood humor into creating multi-ethnic, relatable characters for young readers. With a background in children's education and a childhood spent devouring library books by the likes of Beverly Cleary, Andre crafts stories that entertain, educate, and empower children - all while secretly hoping to finally impress his own offspring. His competitive spirit often leads to heated battles of wit and skill with his kids, from intense Mario Kart races to cutthroat Monopoly sessions. When he's not furiously scribbling down his next masterpiece or attempting to prove his comedic prowess, Andre can be found planning outrageous family adventures in and around Atlanta, Georgia, where he lives with his lovely and patient wife Ambra and their three amazing (if humor-challenged) children
