Laughing Through the Alphabet is a fun book for children. Younger children will have fun learning the alphabet as they associate the letters with the colorful animals. Younger and older children will enjoy the illustrations and the jokes. The illustrations were drawn by Nathan, the author's nine year old grandson. The jokes evolved from a game which Captain Mike and his grandson played in which Nathan had to draw a picture for every letter of the alphabet, and Grandpa had to tell a joke that included the animal Nathan drew. The game was a tie. They both made it all the way through the alphabet! This book is recommended for children 3-12.
