292+ccciv pages appendix & index+20 pages publisher's adverts to rear. Front outer hinge is split 75% down from top, rear outer hinge split 60% from top, both a little frayed NEEDS REPAIR/ ATTENTION. Both inner hinges cracked showing binding 2mm but holding well. Brown cloth binding, light plain cross/banding pattern & gilt titles to spine, gilt logo to front with plain light coachline decoration to edges, spine is lightly faded/sunned. Blue end-papers printed with adverts, ink name/number to flyleaf, 3-4mm losses to spine-ends, wear to edges, heavy wear with small chipping to corners & card showing. Pages of text have a wave. Page-edges are darkened with light foxing. Text has a slightly yellowed appearance but is generally very clean, binding holding very well to text block.
