This book has been bound in a very deep blue cloth with embossed gilt lettering of the spine and front cover. Black embossed decoration of front cover, head and foot of spine. Blind embossed center decoration of back board. Front board corners are bumped, wear at head and foot of the spine. Light rubbing of the boards. Hinges and textblock are solid, no cocking of the spine. Owner's plate inside front cover, otherwise unmarked. Preface for both editions, 156 pages of text, 2 tip-in charts between page 94-95, 4 pages of advertisements at end of text. Numerous black and white illustrations, charts and graphs throughout the text. A good copy. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
