Hardback, Tall 8vo. 9 x 6 inches. In brown cloth covers with dark brown lettering to spine. In very good condition. Spine faded and some minor fading to top edge of front board. Lettering on spine faded/rubbed. Some minor rubbing to cloth on corners and ends of spine. Some minor tanning to endpapers. Pages and plates all very clean an dtight. No inscriptions or marks. Else a very good clean and tight copy. 400pp. Illustrated with 24 B&W photo plates. Sketch maps to endpapers.
