Fair softcover. Side-stabbed under thin card wraps. Front cover is scuffed, foxed with some general age darkening; contemporary owner name on front cover ('Asa Dutton Esq') in fine script; spine backstrip missing 2 inches at head and 1 inch at tail; rear cover lacking; 7 terminal leaves have 3/4 inch gnawed from top edge - all text unaffected; interior is bright and clean but for very occasional light foxing; some leaves dog-eared at fore corners; 2 interior leaves with 1 inch chips at top fore corners - text unaffected. 8vo, 219 pp; index.
