About the Author: Dr. Terry Powell is director of the Church Ministries Program at Columbia Bible College and part-time director of Christian education at Cornerstone Presbyterian Church in Irmo, South Carolina. He holds master's degrees in communications and in Christian education from Wheaton and completed his Ed.D. at Trinity Divinity School. Dr. Powell has previously served on the Christian Education Board of the Baptist General Conference, taught at Southeastern Bible College, and served as Christian Education director at Devington Baptist Church in Indianapolis.
