Larry Simpson is Officers Christian Fellowship s (OCF) staff representative for the Puget Sound and Family Outreach ministries. Larry retired from the US Air Force in 2003 in the rank of Colonel following 27 years of active service. As the Puget Sound region Field representative, he gives leadership to OCF Bible study team leaders at military installations throughout the area.
Larry holds a Bachelor s degree in Psychology from the University of Kentucky, a Master s degree in Counselor Education from the University of New Hampshire, and a Master s degree in Christian Leadership from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore Kentucky. Larry deployed twice to combat locations and served as deputy Air Base Group Commander in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and as Director of Manpower and Personnel, Combined Task Force, Incirlik, Turkey. He was also the Deputy Support Group Commander at McChord AFB, Washington.
Larry and his wife, Bobbie, also give leadership to OCF's Spiritually Smart Family marriage enrichment conferences, retreats and seminars. They have served on the staff of OCF since 2006. Larry and Bobbie have been married for 38 years and have three children and three grandchildren. Larry and his wife reside in Puyallup, Washington.
