Boarding School book for Girls, one of over 50 by the author, Angela Brazil [1868-1947]. First published c1914 this edition is possibly from 1935. Gift inscription to the ffep is dated Xmas 1936. Very attractive illustration to the front over of a girl in blue, holding a tennis racket, sitting on a trunk. Spine is also illustrated with a schoolgirl waving. 256 pages, frontispiece and 3 other full-plate illustrations by John Campbell. Interior pages are bright white and unmarked. Binding is tight and square. Slight wear to the corner tips and to the spine edges. Attractive copy ! Please enquire for the correct postage to your destination.
