In collaboration with industry and academic leaders, this book is intended to be used as a resource for designing, administering and evaluating strategic asset management plans. The "Leader's Guide to ISO 55001" provides a detailed explanation of each management system requirement, along with examples of how to comply with each management system standard and a maturity-based method for evaluating your current practices and level of compliance. The This book is not accredited by the International Standards Organization, American National Standards Institute or any other governing standards body associated with ISO 55001. The views and perspectives expressed within this resource are those of the authors based on their collective experience as members of asset management councils and associations, and as business and community leaders in asset management.
