How do leadership tasks change as companies internationalize, and how can companies provide their leaders with developmental opportunities to prepare them for operating within this context? These are questions that are discussed in this book, where the background is the growing number of multinational companies, and the fact that leadership capacity and capabilities seem to be considered a major prerequisite for success. The book is the result of a common interest and cooperation between academics, researchers, and consultants at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), the Center for Applied Research at the NHH, and Administrative Research Institute at the NHH (which constitute the NHH Group).
