Leadership Dilemmas and Challenges: Reflections and Advice: Or, Why I Do That?

Leadership Dilemmas and Challenges: Reflections and Advice (or "Why I Do That?") is a collection of personal, interconnected essays intended to inform and inspire current and future practitioners in the non-profit or public-sector space. Part insightful guidance, part humorous memoir, author Michael Zisser pulls from more than 30 years' experience managing major New York City-based organizations, as well as several decades teaching graduate level courses in planning, public administration and social work, to provide practical, honest advice to today's leaders and managers in the non-profit and public sectors.
