Leadership in the Local Church

Leadership in the Local Church by Jacob T. Hundu argues that church leadership is a sacred stewardship under Christ’s authority, rather than an organizational task shaped by secular or corporate models. The book advocates for a return to the New Testament pattern, specifically emphasizing a plurality of elders who lead through character and service rather than status. The author explores the biblical qualifications for offices like elders and deacons, stressing moral integrity and spiritual maturity. Ultimately, the work calls for "cruciform" leadership that prioritizes humble shepherding to ensure the church’s doctrinal fidelity and mission.
