Leading an Education-based Athletic Program: Concepts and Guidelines for Athletic Administrators

An essential guide for school athletics administrators of all levels.

Books on leadership and management styles for coaches and administrators seem to be a dime a dozen these days, with every celebrity coach contributing their thoughts on the topic. These resources are valuable enough, but not until Dr. Hoch’s seminal work has a book been dedicated to the entirety of high school athletic programs.

A holistic guide to educational development in athletes, Leading an Education-Based Athletic Program: Concepts and Guidelines for Athletic Administrators will provide readers everything they need, from business practices like marketing and hiring to more philosophical concepts and practical approaches for developmental programs like mentorship.
