About the Author
Dr. Xuru Ding is a technical lead engineer and a DFSS Master Black Belt at General Motors. She received her BS in automatic control from the Southeastern University, China, her MS and DSc degrees in system science and mathematics from Washington University in St. Louis and an MS degree in energy system engineering from University of Michigan. Since then, she has led numerous projects of Robust Design and DFSS, for improving product performance and quality, as well as teaching training courses on Robust Design and DFSS at General Motors.
