About the Author

Harold Bloom (1930-2019) ocup� la c�tedra Sterling de Humanidades de la Universidad de Yale, y previamente la c�tedra Charles Eliot Norton de Harvard. Entre sus m�s de cuarenta libros, se cuentan: La ansiedad de la influencia, El canon occidental, Shakespeare la invenci�n de lo humano, La religi�n americana, C�mo leer y por qu�, Relatos y poemas para ni�os extremadamente inteligentes de todas las edades, El daimon sabe y La escuela de Wallace Stevens (Vaso Roto, 2011) . Fue miembro de la Academia Estadounidense de Artes y Letras y de la Fundaci�n MacArthur.
