As a longtime firearms instructor, I have found that bad habits are formed over time or formed without proper instruction. My hope in writing this book is that you will take these basic steps and continue to learn and master the craft. About the Author

Captain Walker is the Owner/Operator and Chief Firearms Instructor of the East Texas Tactical Firearms Training School. He has been in the Law Enforcement profession since 1993. He holds a Master Peace Officer’s Certificate, TCOLE Firearms Certification as well as an Advanced Instructor’s License and Texas CHL/LTC Instructors Certificate. He has taught numerous firearms courses in his career, including basic, intermediate, and advanced handgun, AR-15 type rifle shooting, patrol rifle, and shotgun courses. Captain Walker is an armorer for both Glock and AR-15 weapon systems and has worked as a SWAT Officer for 12 years, 10 of which were spent as the team’s Assistant Commander and Sniper.
