Synopsis
Lark experienced the devastating loss of her 19-year-old son to suicide. Having already lost her father to suicide five years earlier, this second death hit hard. All expectations for the future were erased. Everything became difficult. Even breathing felt like a conscious decision. This is the story of her raw and painful journey through despair and grief. About the Authors
Lark Dean Galley is the mother of Christian Dean Galley, who passed away by suicide in March 2019. Sharing his story brings her joy and has allowed her to heal their relationship. Lark is married to Stephen S. Galley, LTC(R) and is the mother to three other children and grandmother to four. She lives with her husband, youngest daughter, and rescued cat, Mudd, in the Salt Lake Valley. After years of pushing herself, Lark has finally learned the power of slowing down and connecting. She enjoys spending time with her family, being in nature, and riding her AirChair which some say she is too old to do.
