Synopsis
This is a clear and simple guide for anyone who seriously wants to improve his/her English. There are 50 tried and tested tips suggested. These cover all the skills necessary for linguistic improvement; reading, writing, speaking, listening, pronunciation, vocabulary, non-verbal communication and cultural awareness. The idea is to select a few of the tips that you would like to try and do exactly that. Follow them consistently for a period of time, at least a month if it's every day, or two months if it's just once or twice a week. As you notice improvements, you can decide at any time, if you wish to stop an activity and try another depending on your needs and requirements. If you are highly self-motivated, you can follow the activities yourself, otherwise, I would suggest doing it guided by a decent teacher, or with a group of fellow students, which makes the activities even more fun. Many of the tips given can be used for learning other languages or applied to other fields of learning. They are based on real learning techniques, linked to memory and not on artificial theories. Feel free to send me your feedback as you experience these techniques.
