Learning the Flow: The Adventures of Starla, Shelly, and Sunny
A thoughtful picture book about emotions, change, and growing strong together

In the gentle waters of Coral Cove, three unlikely friends discover something important:

The ocean doesn’t stay still…
—and neither do our feelings.

When currents swirl, groups get mixed up, strange things appear, and danger quietly drifts closer, Sunny, Shelly, and Starla must learn how to face the unknown—not with speed or control, but with awareness, patience, and courage.

Through playful humour, poetic storytelling, and meaningful moments, this beautifully written bilingual picture book helps children explore:

What to do when things feel overwhelming
How to stay calm when you don’t know what to do
Why going slower can sometimes help more
How to work together through confusion and fear
That not everything can be fixed—but we can learn to move with it

Told in both English and Spanish, Learning the Flow is perfect for families, classrooms, and young readers who are beginning to understand their emotions and the changing world around them.
