Learning French Through Stories: Intermediate Short Stories for French Learners

If you are a French language learner looking to advance your reading skills and enhance your vocabulary, then this book will guide you through dialogue and story reading in your second language. We often are instructed with conventional activities in the form of worksheets, overlooking that words are 20 times more likely to be remembered if they are part of a story (Bruner 2017). Language learners retain more in the context of a story and become accustomed to the natural syntax of that language.

In this book, you will discover:

- An intro with a guide on how to read in your second language.
- Simple yet informative sentences.
- Strategies for retaining vocabulary while reading.
- Themed stories.
- Natural native French dialogue (often omitted in textbooks)
- A progression of difficulty through stories.
- Present tense is mainly used.
- Explicit details on the themes.
- A glossary at the end for challenging words
-An optional audiobook version, where you can select the speed of the narration for better comprehension.

If you are serious about continuing your French studies, this book will fine-tune your success: nothing to lose but everything to gain for your progress in French.
