Learning a Language: How I managed it. How you can too

How would you feel if the process of language learning suddenly became clear and simple?

If you’re anything like I used to be, learning a new language is confusing, frustrating and maybe even demoralizing. After all, most people simply don’t enjoy studying grammar, conjugating verbs and reading exercise books.

But then I discovered there are two types of language learners: Type 1, who have little idea about how to go about it (apart from attending classes) and type 2, who set up their own ideal plan which allows them to make the maximum progress in minimum time.

By using these tips, tricks and techniques, I not only enjoyed the process of learning to speak a new language but was able to learn 2 years’ worth of language in just 6 months.

After doing his degree in Theoretical Physics, Astronomy and Astrophysics at St. Andrews, Scotland and his Postgrad in Education in Cambridge, he decided he’d had enough of the crap weather and went to work in Barcelona for a year - or maybe two - to teach English. He now coaches the expat community and gives business training sessions on productivity and public speaking. When he is not training, coaching or speaking, he writes. He is the creator of 10 plays for children, 3 comic strips, 3 plays for adults, one bilingual story book, the USSB model for improving personal productivity and numerous personal development articles.
